Day 5!

How about yellow accessories? I think they made my look cheerful and summery. Usually yellow associates with Fall season…leaves, grass, but not this shade! Bright yellow screams summer, sun, fun!

It starts getting cold in my part of California. I better think about layering the dress since I have 5 more ways to go for this challenge. 🙂 Stay with me!

Day 4!

To add a little more contrast since my previous look, I decided to throw red color into the game. Red is such a bold and contrasting color. It can avoce positive (confident, determined, flirty) or negative (fearful and agressive) emotions depending on situation.

Day 3!

Day 3 of my Dress Challenge is here! No strong contrast or bright colors…For this outfit my inspiration was the nature…relaxing earth tones, leather accessories, and leopard.

The necklace, earrings, and the hair piece, that I am wearing today, was given to me by a good friend of mine and a great artist Nina Langraff. She made all of them by hand. This beautiful lady loves making jewelery, and she loves doing mural paintings and decorative work. But her paintings are something else! They are so beaufitul and truly a piece of art! You have to see it to believe it!

Day 2!

Cyan color can be a great accent color. It’s an interesting color…it’s bright, but calming; it’s contrasting, but relaxing to the eye.

When I think of cyan, I see blue sky. The color also reminds me of the water lagoons in the Carribean islands my husbans and I went last February. Oh my, I just loved that time!

Hi Everyone! It’s been a while since I have done a challenge. And so, today I am starting one again…

It’s a Dress Challenge 10 days/10 ways!

Last week I bought this very cute dress. It is of a warm grey color with no prints or motifs. This neutral colored dress looks like a perfect canvas for bright and fun accessories. My imagination was going wild when I started imagining which accessories and what colors I would wear with it…And so, I decided to challenge myself to wear the same dress for 10 days straight, but to look different each day I am wearing it.

A Huge Thank you to those who participated and voted in the Photo Sharing Party #2! We had a blast! Almost 500 people voted!!!!!!! That’s huge! 

I loved all five outfits that were put out for vote. The outfit #2 and the outfit #5 got The Most Votes. In fact, they were chasing each other the whole time throughout the voting process. It was quite a show to watch! The #2 and #5 got so many votes that the fair thing to do in my opinion is to honor both of them, but of course the Winner is the only one! 

Miss October is #2!!!!! Her name is Natasha. Her outfit is simple, but dressy. It is a great example of how accessories can dress you up and make you one stylish lady. Natasha look very pretty! CONGRATULATIONS!!!

Little black dress is an important staple in women’s wardrobe, and every woman of any age should own one. This simple and elegant dress will help you in any situation and occasion. It will dress you up making you look classic and elegant, or it will also dress you down creating a more casual look. I consider a little black dress an investment, because you can wear it every day and look different and stylish just by changing your accessories and/or adding a few layers. It can be worn for work or for a date night.

I love this dress. I got it before I had my children, and, even though I got a few pounds heavier since then, it still fits me! Yay! 🙂

Mustard color… why not! This shade of yellow makes me feel cheerful and warm. A pencil skirt, neutral shoes, and pearls helped me create an elegant and professional look. However, the color combination of warm mustard and cool greenish- blue is what brings the drama the look! The neutral handbag and shoes slightly calms the contrast between the two colors. These accessories also balance the outfit by making it more pleasing to the eye and not so busy.
