My dear friends and precious followers,

I want to thank you for visiting my blog regularly. It means the world to me! I have not been posting regularly, because the last couple of weeks were very busy…I had two of my wisdom teeth pulled out, Christmas party for kids, Christmas party at my husband’s work, and we are in the middle of moving!!! I don’t even have any gifts for my kids, husband, and family yet! We did get a Christmas tree yesterday, and it will get decorated as soon as our moving boxes will disappear from the living room. 🙂

I am not complaining, it’s a happy time…time to celebrate Christ’s birthday, to make the most delicious dishes and pies, to give gifts…it’s time to celebrate the life Christ gave us!

Lots of Love…

Cute and casual were the two words that came to my mind when I thought of this outfit. A simple sweater, jeans, and handbag are paired with dressy shoes and necklace. The cyan (greenish-blue) sweater and blue jeans with a hint of green color goes very well together. Tan color provides balance to striking cyan. Collar necklace is a great statement piece that dresses up the sweater, and adds a touch of elegance to the whole look.

Today’s outfit was inspired by the purple sweater I got from JCPenney a few weeks ago. I paired it with a skinny faux-leather pants, my favorite heels, oversized clutch and a bracelet. Different shades of purple used in the outfit create a beautiful monochromatic color combination, and the addition of black and gray gives it a sophisticated look.

The combination of cyan and orange is called complementary because these two colors are located across from each other on the color wheel. Cyan is cool and calming, while orange is warm and full of energy. This combination is pleasing to the eye. Orange accessories create an absolutely dramatic and bold statement.
