Ombré nails are one of my favorite now. I like how easy it is to apply and it also looks pretty creative. You can do Ombré-style nails at home by mixing white polish with any dark color polish.

To make it even easier on you, you can do what I did…I bought the Fing’rs Edge Ombre Kit. I applied two coats, and it literally took me 10 minutes to get this chic gradient nails.

Turn on your creative ideas, and play with these five colors from Fing’rs Edge Ombre Kit. See this video on how to create a gradual color fade on each nail using the sponge from the kit. Love Ombre nails!

Wearing Green Jacket Today…and GIVEAWAY End in 4 Days!!!

The GIVEAWAY I am hosting with Lendperk will be over this Saturday, June 1!!!

ENTER *GIVEAWAY* for a chance to get a Free Two Week Dress Rental from Lendperk dress collection. Lendperk is a “Netflix for Dresses” – discover new fashion brands and rent their dresses! They have an excellent service, and their dresses are beautiful!

Remember I mentioned in my previous post how much I love jackets that fit me well? Well, here is another one I found at Kohl’s. I like the color of the jacket, it’s green, and it’s bright. Green color and leopard print is a very natural combination. It reminds me of nature…leaves, forest, leopard…The combination looks even more organic when you add earth tones to it. It associates with brown wood.

As for today’s look…The boyfriend jeans are really baggy, and not very flattering. However, vertical details in the jacket and in the white blouse helped me add some height to the outfit. Finally, the extra high heel completed the look by making it more feminine and successful.

Wearing Blue Jacket Today…

I always loved well-fitting jackets, and this one is a great catch for me. A jacket that truly fits, visually makes you look thinner. When I wear such garment, it doesn’t really matter whether the rest of the outfit is baggy or not. I feel great! 🙂

What I wore…

Jacket SO, Skirt (similar)Michael Kors, CamiForever21, Shoes (similar)ZARA, Necklace (similar)HSN

Meet my photographer…My Wonderful Husband 🙂 Love him so very much!

The dress I used for my challenge was from Lendperk collection too! I wanted to wear it a few different ways to show how you can dress it up with jewelry, sparkly shoes, and the right shade of jacket, or you can dress it down with a simple grey sweater.

1 Dress/3 Ways…Which way is your favorite?

1 Dress/3 Ways Challenge. Day 3…and 10 Days Left Before GIVEAWAY Ends!

Finally, Day 3 of the 1 Dress/3 Ways Challenge is here! I would characterize the outfit I am wearing today as a business attire. It is elegant and dressy. I went with minimal jewelry, as I didn’t want it to look too busy. The sequin dress and a bright jacket are such great focal points that no need to add anything to the outfit, not even a clutch. 🙂 The look is bold and stylish.

Experimenting with Styles

Before I post “Day 3 of the 1 Dress/3 Ways Challenge”, I would like to share with you some of the layouts I created at Polyvore. I joined the site 9 days ago, and love it. I like creating layouts there anytime I get some free time at the computer. The site is so much fun, and it’s very easy to use. I love finding accessories, clothes, shoes, handbags that I just love and pairing them with each other. Below see some of the layouts I made.

1 Dress/3 Ways Challenge. Day 2…and GIVEAWAY is still on!

1 Dress/3 Ways Challenge continues, and today I am wearing the dress with nude heels and a tan jacket. The multicolor necklace was a great choice to wear with the dress, as it picks up different shades of red in the dress. I also really like the background in the photo. It adds brightness and life to the picture as a whole. 🙂

The dress I am wearing is from Lendperk.com. Please visit their collection to see some beautiful dresses they have that you can rent.

1 Dress/3 Ways Challenge. Day 1…and GIVEAWAY Starts Tomorrow!

Today I am starting the 1 Dress/3 Ways Challenge. The dress in the challenge is kindly provided by Lendperk. Lendperk is a company that rents dresses from stores like J.Crew, Wren, ASOS, and many more! They have an excellent service, and their dresses are beautiful!

Like I mentioned in my previous post, the dress I chose to wear “is not really my style, but I went with it because it’s beautiful, and because I like challenging my style and try something new and different.”

Day 1

I added a touch of gray to the look to make it more simple and casual. I wasn’t sure if it would work, but I love how the red and gray shoes bring the elegant dress and a simple gray sweater and clutch together. The sequent top of the dress takes the place of the jewelry.

Lendperk Review…1 Dress/3 Ways Challenge and My First GIVEAWAY is coming!

Today I am very excited to announce my partnership with Lendperk! Lendperk is a store that allows you to rent dresses that you would find in Anthropologie, BCBG, Nordstrom, Wren, ASOS, and other stores. They allow you to rent a dress for one month. Some of the dresses are for sale, and so “if you rent a dress from that collection and want to keep it afterwards, feel free to do so!” They will charge your credit card the listed retail price of the dress on their website. If not, rent it, wear it, and send it back with no shipping costs.  And NO cleaning needed!

 Overall Review:

With FREE shipping, the dress was delivered in a couple of days. When I opened the package, there was a little sweet treat for me along with the prepaid returning package. The dress was as pretty as in the picture, and it was ready to be worn. No ironing needed!

I am very impressed with an excellent service Lendperk offered to me.

I decided to rent the Sequined Jacquard dress by Wren. Retail price is $425, currently on sale for $298). I can’t afford buying such an expensive item, but I love the fact that I can rent them for a small fee, and Lendperk is so good about that.

The dress is not really my style, but I went with it because I like challenging my style and try something new and different. Why not, that’s why I have this blog. 🙂 And so, tomorrow I start “1 Dress/3 Ways Challenge”! I will wear the dress for three different occasions in three different ways.

To summarize my review…

I want to say that I am beyond happy with Lendperk company for providing me with such a great service, fast shipping, and a beautiful dress in an excellent condition. I like Lendperk because it allows you to rent a beautiful designer dress for a low reasonable cost. Look fabulous without spending a lot of money!

There is just one thing that I wish Lendperk to improve…I wish there were more dresses to choose from, and I wish all of the dresses would have various sizes. However, there are still some great options out there for a date night, wedding, office, and even for everyday wear.

Tomorrow the Challenge 1 Dress/3 Ways starts with the dress provided by Lendperk. I will give you a chance to see what the dress looks like on me and different ways to can wear it.

After tomorrow, I will run my First GIVEAWAY!!! One lucky winner will get a chance to choose any dress she wants from Lendperk and wear it for two weeks for FREE.
