I’ve had this leopard skirt for many years now, but it’s my first outfit with it on my blog. When I bought the skirt, I liked it so much that I got one just like it for my sister who lives back in Moldova. Sweet thoughts of my wonderful sister is what makes this skirt special to me. 🙂
As for today’s outfit, I think I found a perfect jacket to pair the skirt with. Army style and leopard print, what can be more stylish?!

Well, here it is again! It’s time to go back to Leopard print! One thing to keep in mind that “it’s easy to go overboard with this print just because the print itself is pretty loud”, so keep it simple, and you will get to that classic, stylish, and dressy look.

As I was looking for some inspiration for my blog, I came across this Fall-Winter 2013-2014 collection from Michael Kors. The collection is filled with elegance, refinement, and simplicity. It includes limited use of accessories, instead the main accent falls on colors, assertive lines and charisma. Two-tone outfits, camouflage pattern, black leather and aggressive zippers add drama and character to the collection. Check it out!
Look what I found at Walmart and love it! It’s Kiss Nail Dress. Even the phrase ‘nail stickers’ sounds cheap and too easy, but it’s exactly what I like about them…and I don’t think they look cheap! What do you think? 🙂
In addition to wearing such classic patterns as polka dot, stripes and houndstooth, today I want to add chevron print to my style. This pattern, just like the other ones mentioned above, are simply timeless!
Chevron print associates with retro style, as it was especially popular in ’70. However, it never goes out of style. It may not be as popular, but it is always there to make a statement.

Since geometric look is was and is so trendy in 2013, chevron print is seen in various garments and accessories.

When I want to be comfortable, I wear boyfriend jeans and sneakers. I am not a sneakers girl really, but when I wear sneakers with a little platform, it feels a little more feminine. The sparkles on the top add a hint of glamour.

As for my outfit, I will make it easy. Here is my rule:
Simple (a linen jacket and jeans) + Dressy (high heels) + A Pop of Color (an orange handbag and a colorful necklace) = An Elegant and Stylish Look.
I got inspired this morning to create the layouts below. The accent in the first layout fall on the burgundy color (the blouse and the handbag), while the focal point of the second layout is the style and the details that tell you about it (military).

A few days ago, Ipek and I went for a little walk in the park to take some photos for my blog. You may have noticed that recently I am really into the pop of red color in my outfit. I like to wear read accents with bright colors (blue, green), but I also like it with neutral (tan color).
