My Favorite Outfit for Running Errands

As I was leaving the house to go grocery shopping for a week, I thought I’d make my husband take a few photos of my most favorite outfit. The flats, shorts and the cross-body handbag are my three favorite items that are very comfortable. The nude color is my latest and greatest color now. 🙂

Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips

A few days ago I made this super easy and tasty Fruit Salsa and Chips. I served it as appetizer for our guests, and it was a hit. This recipe is rated #1 appetizer on allrecipes.com with more than 3000 reviews, so I knew it would be hard to mess it up. 🙂

2 kiwis, peeled and diced

2 Golden Delicious apples – peeled, cored and diced

8 ounces raspberries

1 pound strawberries

2 tablespoons white sugar

1 tablespoon brown sugar

3 tablespoons fruit preserves, any flavor

10 (10 inch) flour tortillas

butter flavored cooking spray

2 tablespoons cinnamon sugar

 1. In a large bowl, thoroughly mix raspberries, strawberries, kiwis, Golden Delicious apples, white sugar, brown sugar and fruit preserves.

Cover and chill in the refrigerator at least 15 minutes.

 2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

3. Coat one side of each flour tortilla with butter flavored cooking spray.

4. Cut into wedges and arrange in a single layer on a large baking sheet.

5.  Sprinkle wedges with desired amount of cinnamon sugar. Spray again with cooking spray.

6. Bake in the preheated oven 8 to 10 minutes. Repeat with any remaining tortilla wedges.

7. Allow to cool approximately 15 minutes. Serve with chilled fruit mixture.

Bon Appetit!

Lace and Crochet

I bought this white blouse with short lace sleeves at H&M a few weeks ago. Ever since then I wore it with jeans without a belt. However, today I felt like dressing it up with this beautiful crochet skirt. I’ve had the skirt for a while, but wanted to wear it with something that will make it stand out more. A wide black belt was a great addition to the look.

A Fun Look

The dress I am wearing today is out my style zone, but wanted to try something different and fun. At the end of the day, that’s why I came up with this blog! 🙂

Brown belt, high-heel sandals, necklace and bracelets dress up my outfit. Curly hair makes it more fun and interesting.

Paul Fredrick Summer Collection 2014

Let’s talk about men’s fashion…

Paul Fredrick is a great company that introduces men to a classic and versatile style. It’s a smart style for men. The company was founded 25 years ago. They originally specialized in dress shirts, but their collection has grown exponentially. Paul Fredrick designs, manufactures and directly distributes every item in their collection. No wholesalers. No store fronts. Just great style at everyday prices.

Even though Paul Fredrick Fall 2014 Collection is out, I would like to talk about their Summer Collection for now. It features variety of formal dress shirts, patterned ties and suits for men. Incorporating bold prints in their ties to complement the range of bright colors available in their range of shirts, the collection makes a bold statement with its block colors and stripes.

Summer season is a Wedding season, and if you are invited to a wedding and don’t know where to start, you will find some helpful tips in this article on how to dress up well for the wedding, and Paul Fredrick Summer collection will help me with that. It has great styles to choose from, so let’s take a closer look at it.

The collection features trendy pastel colors. Light pink, blue, and green color dress shirt give the look a soft touch, while suits of pastel tones will create a refreshing look for summer.

The suits are made of 100% cotton seersucker, which will keep you comfortable even out in the sun, and set off with the bold designs and prints of their signature ties, make an impressive statement. This type of suit can be worn to a casual wedding or a wedding at a daytime.

Paul Fredrick summer collection has a wide selection of ties. Wear a bold, dotted, striped or floral tie to create a confident look. Remember to emphasize one main color in the look, and choose the other ones to compliment the main one.

I would recommend wearing darker suits like black or gray for a wedding in the evening. A dressy shirt with turned–down collar will look classy and elegant. Add an attractive tie bright and bold for stylish and modern look. Add a lighter color tie for a softer look.

Style is simplicity. Don’t mix large patterns or your outfit will look too busy and clattered.  If you want a more textured look, wear smaller scale patterns. They are more forgiving when pairing with other patterns.

Visit Paul Fredrick website and see all the different styles and colors they offer.
