Yesterday was another great date night with my wonderful husband. I always enjoy those alone times with him, but yesterday was a little more entertaining. We went to Stars Theatre Restaurant to watch the silly comedy “Spamalot”. Since my husband had on dressy attire, I decided to wear a little black dress. You can’t go wrong with a little black dress that fits you well. 🙂

Our godparents, Bob and Kandi, invited us to the play, as Bob is playing the staring role of King Arthur. This couple is like our second parents, at least that’s how I feel about them. As for the theatre, their food was good, and the Irish flavored coffee with a hint of cinnamon was some of the best I’ve ever had.

“Monty Python’s Spamalot is a musical comedy “lovingly ripped off from” the 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail.   The comedy will be played until July 27.  Like the film, it is a highly irreverent parody of the Arthurian Legend, but it differs from the film in many ways.” (Wikipedia) “Telling the legendary tale of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, and their quest for the Holy Grail, Monty Python’s SPAMALOT features a chorus line of dancing divas and knights, flatulent Frenchmen, killer rabbits and one legless knight. (Stars Theatre Restaurant)  The comedy is very silly. I knew I wouldn’t get most of the jokes, but we all had a great time, good food, wonderful coffee, and a good laugh. Bob Anderson did an awesome job playing King Arthur!
