Just like many of us, I love drinking coffee, especially in the morning. I enjoy it because it tastes great and gives me energy, but staining my teeth is definitely the downside.

I was happy to receive and try each of Kenra’s top hairsprays! I got a package of 5 total hair products in my mail:

– Kenra Perfect Medium Spray 13
– Kenra Ultra Freeze Spray 30
– Kenra Volume Spray 25

As it turned out, it was a perfect combination of hairsprays to see how similar and different they work, and to find the one that works best for my hair.

Kenra Perfect Medium Spray 13

I liked how Kenra Perfect Medium Spray 13 kept the shape of my hair and was easy to brush through. I curled my hair with a curling iron and used Medium Spray to finish up styling it. As a result, there were no hard curls. My hair still felt soft, light, and looked wavy.

Kenra Volume Spray 25

Kenra Volume Spray 25 has a super hold for 120 hours! It’s also 24 hour humidity resistant and wind resistant up to 25 MPH! Those are some impressive numbers!

It does have a strong hold and flake-free. I imagine this would be the best hairspray to use if I am going to a wedding at the beach.

Kenra Ultra Freeze Spray 30

Kenra Ultra Freeze Spray 30 means hairspray and shine in one. This hair product is long-lasting and has an ultra-firm hold. It will ensure that your hair will stay in place for many hours. It’s also flake-free and humidity resistant. Perfect if you want your hairdo to last long, especially where I live, in a humid place like Florida.

Kenra Platinum HiDEF Spray 16

HiDEF Hairspray 16 is a light-defusing finishing spray that holds undone styles with a matte finish. It sets the texture, body and fullness. I like how natural and fresh my hair is. However, because I prefer my hair shiny, I still added shine as a final touch. -)

Kenra Platinum Finishing Spray 26

Finishing Spray 26 provides maximum control with long-lasting lift and style retention. This hair product is my favorite, and I did use it more often than any other ones. It’s fast-drying, humidity resistant, and has my favorite feature…it has high shine!

I usually wear my hair down, and most of the time it’s straightened with a flat iron. This hairspray does keep my hair with a nice volume and is humidity-resistant. My favorite part is that it leaves my or my daughter’s hair slick and shiny.

To summarize, all five hair products worked great on my and my daughter’s hair. I have a favorite, but not because it performed better than the other, it’s because this specific one works the best for the hair style I wear the most. From now on, Kenra Platinum Finishing Spray 26 is my go to every day hairstyle product.

Prior to this try-out, I honestly didn’t think much about why there are so many different hairsprays. I thought the only difference was how strong they were. Now I see why there are so many choices of hairsprays, because many things are taken into consideration. All you have to do is to decide which hairspray suits best the style you are going for…whether you want a dressy hairstyle that will last for many hours or natural loose curls, shiny and slick hair or matte and with texture, etc.

A few weeks ago, I got Hyla3D skincare product in my mail. I was very excited to try it out!

Hyla3D is Jan Marini’s most recent product that takes a 3-dimensional approach to restore skin’s hydration, youthful volume, smoothness, and to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

I started using it routinely twice a day in the morning and in the evening. In the morning, I wash my face and moisturize it. Then it’s time for Hyla3D! I only use 2-3 pumps to apply it to my entire face and neck.

When in the evening, I apply it after all my makeup is off and my face is well moisturized. My skin feels great, as the product absorbs quickly and doesn’t dry it.

So far I am happy with the product, but I am not done using it. It looks like the more I use it, the more results I get. -)

Ole Henriksen Balance Kit Review

After receiving and trying this full size kit from Ole Henrikson (received through Influenster), I have written my honest review in this post about each one of the three products received. The kit includes the Balance Oil Control Cleanser, Balance Oil Control Tone, and Balance Oil Control Hydrator.

First of all, I love the sleek and modern packaging the products came in, and that shade of green is my favorite. It’s earthy and fresh. -)

Ole Henriksen Balancing Force™ Oil Control Toner

The toner is great. The minty scent gives you the refreshing and cooling sense.

When applying it, you feel a little bit of tingling sensation, but it’s not an uncomfortable feeling, it just feels like the toner is doing its job. It tightens up your face and minimizes pores and blackheads. I definitely see noticeable improvements on my face. My pores are almost invisible on my nose! -)

My skin feels cleaner and smoother after applying it!

Ole Henriksen Find Your Balance™ Oil Control Cleanser

The cleanser has a creamy consistency that forms into a gentle lather when applied to a damp face. At first my skin feels cool and tingly for a couple of minutes, and then the minty scent has a cooling effect which feels extremely revitalizing. My skin feels fresh and clean after I use this. I like how it doesn’t leave my face overly dry, instead it makes it feel very smooth. I highly recommend this cleanser!

Ole HenriksenCounter Balance™ Oil Control Hydrator

This hydrator is my favorite product of them all. I love how my skin feels light and just smooth. It absorbs super quickly, so you don’t have to worry about getting moisturizer everywhere if you put it on before bed. It also doesn’t make my skin feel oily, instead it has a perfect matte finish. I love the minty smell of the toner, as well as the other two products. I find it cooling and very refreshing. This moisturizer is very pleasant to use.

SoCozy’s NEW Sensitive Hair Care Products for Kids

Look what we found at Target a few weeks ago!!! Let me tell you why I was so excited about these products. -)

My daughter’s hair has always been on the dry side. As she was growing up, and her hair was getting longer, we learned that it needed some extra conditioning. And so we are always on the lookout for the hair products that are specifically made for dry hair and sensitive scalp. That’s why I was so excited to see SoCozy brand, the salon-quality hair care products developed for kids, at Target. Their new HUSH collection by SoCozy is designed to treat dry hair for children with sensitive skin. It includes HUSH Sensitive Scalp Serum, Sensitive Foam, Sensitive 2in1, and Sensitive Detangler.

Here is what my daughter’s hair looks like very morning after she brushes it. Obviously, it needs some conditioning. So, let’d start testing the HUSH collection, and see if it does what it promises.

First, we used the Sensitive Scalp Serum. It’s a non-greasy, leave-in formula that helps calm an irritated scalp, while reducing dry flakes.

The best way to use it is to part her hair in small sections, apply directly to scalp and massage gently.

Then I sprayed it with the detangler. I am very impressed how well conditioned, smooth and soft her hair was. It was very easy to brush through.

I could definitely see the benefits of using it every morning. It will get the tangles out with no problem. See the result below.

Next, we washed her hair with the shampoo+conditioner.

The brush on the tube was a nice feature for applying shampoo on her hair.

The product foamed very nicely as we worked it through her hair.

However, when my daughter rinsed it out, it didn’t just feel dry…it looked dry. As you see on the photo, her hair still needed some conditioning.

To be fair, I have to mention again that my daughter’s scalp and her hair always needed extra conditioning. For whatever reason, the product made little difference for her hair.

To fix the problem, we immediately sprayed the detangler on it, and again it worked its magic. Her hair became soft and easy to brush.

To make her hair looking fuller and to add more volume, I used Sensitive Styling Foam.

I let it dry naturally, and really loved the end result. Judge for yourself!

To summarize my review, I will definitely be buying SoCozy detangler, foam, and scalp serum in the future. All these products work very well with dry hair. Each one of them contributed to my daughter’s hair looking softer, shinier, and healthier. I strongly recommend all three of these products.

However, I can’t say the same about the shampoo+conditioner, as it didn’t work for my daughter’s hair. It may work well with your kid’s hair, but that’s just my experience. And, keep in mind, her hair is really dry.

I have never posted a photo of me that was make-up free. -)

So, get ready to read this different and exciting post!

I love wearing makeup. It provides me with confidence that even if I have some blemishes and wrinkles on my face, my foundation does a great job hiding them. Sounds good, but that’s not always the case. So I thought instead of hiding the problem, let’s solve it. That’s why I decided to give DermaE skincare products a try.

First I tried their Purifying 2-in-1 Charcoal Mask.

When applied, it has an interesting dark cobalt-blue color, which lightens as it dries. My face felt cool, minty, and my skin began to feel tight.

My kids never seen me in a mask before, and so they kept taking videos and photos of me looking like a blueman. -) I tried not to laugh, to keep the mask from cracking.

In 5 min, it was all dry. I moistened my fingertips, and massage gently around my nose, chin and forehead. Rinsed thoroughly with a damp cloth. The results were great! My face looked lighter, and my skin felt very soft. The mask was a success!

The second product I tried was Purifying Daily Detox Scrub.

I applied this product on my wet face and gently scrubbed it in a circular motion.

Let it sit for 1 min and rinse thoroughly with water. My skin felt fresh and very clean.

I definitely recommend both of these products. They do their job well!

Firmoo Eyeglasses Review

Recently I was contacted by Firmoo optical store to review their product. My order came in a matter of days, which was impressive.

I loved the case the glasses came in, the accessories it included, and more importantly I was very happy with the glasses.

The multicolor frame and the shape are very stylish and go with many different outfits. They are lightweight and comfortable to wear.

Everyone who has seen these frames on me, think they are beautiful. My mother-in-law wants to order the exact same frame for distance and close-up. She has beautiful blue eyes, and the blue in the frames really complements them.

Overall, and it is my very honest opinion, the style of the glasses is suitable for any age. Whether you need prescription or not, these glasses are very fashionable and fun to wear!
