Winter is coming very soon, but while it is still Fall, I wanted to come up with a nail design that reminds me of Fall season…greenish-brown leaves and orange pumpkin.
For my Fall nail design I used Pure ICE polish: green # 648CP and orange # 641CP.

Love the colors of this necklace! It inspired me to put greenish blue colors on my nails. Layers of cyan, blue, and green colors created a sense of movement in the design. Copper sparkles added to the greenish blue colors created a complimentary combination, enhancing the design and making it visually more appealing.

Orange color mixed with yellow, and a hint of pink associates with summer, bright sun, fun, joy, and love. I was in a very good and happy mood yesterday, and so I felt like these colors went well with it!
Usually, when I think of orange color, I imagine fall season, pumpkin, dark orange leaves… However, the brighter the color, the more cheerful and summery it feels. Orange color gets attention very easy. So, if you want to get noticed, wearing something orange is what you need. Yellow color associates with sun, energy, and excitement. The two colors are related, because they both have yellow hue in them, so there is no strong contrast between them, at least nothing like between black and white. Pink is not as loud as orange and yellow, instead it has a calming effect, so it nicely balances the two other bright colors in this combination.

The inspiration for my gold and blue nail color came from this pretty Victorian style necklace with Turquoise stone. I love the necklace, and it’s definitely a statement piece. The combination of cyan and orange colors was always one of my favorite ones. So a few days ago, when I bought a pretty cyan color nail polish, I immediately looked for an orange one…and I found it! Here is the result: a medium cyan polish #530 and reddish orange polish #400 by L’Oreal.
A feel of warmth and energy that comes from orange color when paired with coolness and calmness of cyan color gives the combination a nice harmony and balance.
P.S. It’s funny that when my husband saw my nails, he sincerely thought that I forgot to paint one of my nails the same color as the rest of them. 🙂
