The shoes were my inspiration for the outfit I wore today. As I mentioned before in my previous posts, the combination of leopard print and green color is one of my favorite. It’s such a nature inspired combination.

Wearing brown color top today with a geometrical pattern multi-color skirt from Kohl’s. This skirt was on my ‘Summer must-have list’. It’s soft, light, comfortable, and perfect for the summer. You can dress it up or dress it down. Love it!

Color blocking outfit is when you are pairing bright and bold garments with complimentary color. Since these colors are pretty contrasting, stick to 2-3 colors only. Otherwise, it will look too busy and too bright.

Wearing boyfriend jeans again and again…and again. I love them so much for their practicality. It’s clear that they don’t flatter my body, but, as I mentioned before, I like pairing them with girly garments, such as well-fitting jackets, bold jewelry, cute blouses, and high heels to make the outfit feminine. All that, when skillfully combined together, creates a trendy stylish look.

For a while I wanted to start writing make-up posts, where I have fun experimenting with different looks, and here is my first post. Usually, when I do my make up, I like highlighting my eyes and cheeks, and keep my lips more natural. If it’s an evening make-up, I like to add a little more color to the lips.
Today I have an evening make-up on, and a smoky eye is a big staple in my evening looks. Dark eye shadows, a few coats of lengthening/volumizing mascara, dark cheeks, and glossy lips helped me create the look I was going for.
When my make-up is done, I spray MAC Fix+ to give is a natural glow and a slight shine. MAC Fix + is my little beauty secret that I am so happy I discovered! It’s an aqua-spray with vitamins and minerals. It adds radiance and freshness to my skin. It also perfectly finishes make-up making it look more natural. I love this little spray that does so much for my skin.

Ever since I styled a layered outfit in my “Shades of Blue” post, I wanted to put together this polka dot blouse with the sheer top that were hanging in my closet for a while.
Usually layering means wearing several layers of a few garments that are of contrasting colors. However, I wanted to pair together these two neutral garments, so that the main accent would be on the print and the texture of the outfit. Bright pants and chunky necklace added a pop of color and interest to the layered look.
